Oh, hey there!
I'm Adrienne. I'm a Kansas-bred, London-trained, Chicago-based actor and acting coach.
I trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in the UK, where I learned how to act with swords, words, and the camera. I worked in London for a bit, decided a city without tacos was not a city I could live in, and moved to Chicago, where I've been playing pretend for paying customers ever since.
I like whiskey, gravity, Jacobean tragedy, and tacos. I really like tacos.
We should work together.
SEE ME LIVE, IN ACTION, IN THE FLESH
IN THE WAKE
by LISA KRON
directed by ALEX MALLORY
Dates: July 27 through August 26, 2017
Location: Greenhouse Theater Center (2257 N Lincoln Ave, Chicago IL)
It's Thanksgiving of 2000 and the presidential election still has not been decided. Ellen insists that her friends and family don't understand how bad the situation really is. But no one—not her loving partner, Danny, nor the passionate Amy, nor the brutally pragmatic and world-weary Judy—can make Ellen see the blind spot at the center of her own politics and emotional life. A funny, passionate, and ultimately searing play that illuminates assumptions that lie at the heart of the American character—and the blind spots that mask us from ourselves. IN THE WAKE received Lortel and GLAAD Media Award nominations and was a finalist for the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize.
